LECA means Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate produced by bloating clay with a high temperature of 1400~1500℃in a rotary kiln. LECA is round and extremely light in weight just 1/7 (350-400kg/m3) of normal stone aggregate. Its dense exterior shell and porous interior structure provides outstanding insulating properties.
